Suzanne is originally from Largs in Ayrshire. Suzanne has a keen interest in the care of animals post-operatively and critical care. She was a nominee for the National Veterinary Nurse of the Year in 2010.
When not at work, Suzanne loves spending time with her family and pets.
Johan qualified in 2006 and did a short stint locuming around the UK including a few PDSA Hospitals. Johan's main interests are in Anaesthesia and intensive care nursing. In 2013 she gained a certificate from the ESVPS in Anaesthesia and Critical Care. Johan also oversees our blood donor register.
Outside work Johan enjoys hill walking with her dogs Marnie and Bosco, landscape photography and owns a big black cat called Fish.

Kirsty qualified in 2001 and has worked in small and mixed practice as well as spending time locuming in Austrailia and New Zealand. Kirsty has a special interest in dog and cat behaviour and has a NCert in Animal Behaviour from the EVPS.
Kirsty has a gorgeous Labradoodle called Bear, and a naughty horse called Eclipse.
Paulene is a qualified registered veterinary nurse and has been in the profession her entire career. Her special interests are in medical nursing & nursing feline patients. She enjoys walks with her Springer Spaniel, Fionn.
Janet works at Crown Vets and oversees the Canalside branch. She qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1988, from the Staffordshire College of Agriculture. She has worked at a number of small animal emergency clinics and at a RSPCA animal hospital in England.
Janet has a Jack Russell Terrier called Foxy.

Sarah has a Certificate in Canine and Feline Nutrition and is also a Royal Canin Pet Health Councillor. Sarah was nominated for Pet Health Councillor of the Year and won the sub category of 'Best Use of Social Media' due to the awareness of obesity she generated and general pet health care education. She is also a Clinical Coach and has an interest in teaching and development. Her favourite aspects of the job are consulting and weight clinics.
Sarah still provides weekend cover for us whilst she covers maternity leave in Sutherland. Her WHWT is called Rosie.
Student Veterinary Nurse
Caitlin graduated from Edinburgh Napier University with an honours degree in Veterinary Nursing in 2016. She trained at practices in Elgin, Banff and spent some time training in an Equine Hospital in Berlin.
Outside of work, she spends time with her dogs Disney and Solo and her horses Honey and Jethro.
Susan qualified in 2004 from Telford College, having completed her practical training at University of Glasgow Vet School. She enjoys all aspects of her job, but has a particular interest in orthopaedic and feline nursing. She is currently studying for a Certificate in Feline Nursing.
In her spare time she enjoys travelling, hill-walking, rock climbing and dancing. She has a ginger cat called Reece, who enjoys hunting and being naughty!
Animal Care Assistant
Stephanie qualified from college in Edinburgh in 2013. She enjoys surgical nursing, helping with all aspects of procedures. Her favourite procedures to perform are radiography.
She is known in the practice for anything pink or sparkly and is nicknamed 'Princess'! In her spare time she spends time with her husband and growing family - 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 horses, 3 pigs, 4 goats and a pet Highland cow.
Cassey has worked in a variety of places ranging from general practice, emergency clinics, referral hospitals and the RSPCA Hospital in London. She enjoys all aspects of the job but her main interest lies within exotic nursing.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her cats - Phoebe the cheeky tortie and Millie her three-legged tabby.
Having grown up in Inverness, Bryony has been a student nurse with us since autumn 2016 and is studying for the qualification through North Highland College, Thurso. Bryony has worked with horses for over 16 years - breaking, training and competing in affiliated dressage competitions. Bryony has now taken the decision to train with us as a veterinary nurse and we are delighted to have her on board!
She has her own horse, Nicole, who can be a tad challenging at times!
She also enjoys being active in the countryside with her son.
Charlotte assists the vets and nurses in the day-to-day running of our busy clinic and her duties include ensuring a hygienic and organised clinical environment, reassuring and feeding the animals in our care, ensuring they are comfortable in their kennels, and helping the clinical staff with various tasks.
She loves the role and has been with Crown since 2013, and is currently studying for formal qualification in Animal Care.
Charlotte has a great sense of humour, and enjoys horse riding and spending time with her Lurcher X Springer dog, who loves going everywhere with her!
